Metal purity in the fine jewelry category?

A recent change in Auctiva now make it impossible to add a "Metal Purity" to the item specifics in the fine jewelry category. If i list something as "Yellow gold" it will not let me choose "14k" because the box is grayed out. is this something that can be fixed?
