Actually, this is something the Design Team has noticed as well, in the creation of Custom Template Designs. Again the best thing our team can suggest is to "Save Often" (and we are talking, very often). As RcSuperSales said, if you return to the window you were in and trying to save when the time out happened, your data to that point should be there.

This is the only suggestion we have for now, but know the problem is on our radar and being looked in to.
