Need Help. I changed a profile and it is not changed on the listing.

I changed a profile (the checkout detail- under payment) and saved it. Shouldn't it reflect the changes when I write a new listing? And if I edit a saved listing shouldn't it reflect that change? It is a detail associated with a master that I use often.
