newbie question about the scrolling store gallery

Hello, I have read that I can disable the scrolling store gallery. I like auctiva's and there is another one I like also. So, sometimes I won't be using auctiva's. Does auctiva allow us to add an outside source scrolling store gallery? Do you know when I would add the outside store gallery? TIA, I will be checking back. Glo*
