I got those popups last week saying I had trojans and virus' on my computer, and also to click here to get it fixed. I shut down my computer immediately.

I had no idea it was coming from this mess.

My brother in law is pretty computer savy and got a popup with the same thing. He was somehow infected and tried spybot, avg and other programs and nothing would remove the virus.

He finally downloaded Windows Defender and it got rid of it.

I now run it and spybot and avg daily.

Thought this might help if you wanted to try it.
