Use a text editor, like Notepad, to create the text and copy - paste the text to the description editor, then add the formatting.

You could also use a good HTML/CSS desktop editor to create the code for copy - paste using the editor in HTML mode. However, the new editor is somewhat picky about standards compliance. I'm still experimenting with that later option to see if its got limitations. For the moment, I'd follow Auctiva's latest recommendation (actually not new) and use Notepad or any text editor.

Word does have a Save As HTML capability. You'd just need to be selective on what you copy, i.e. it probably saves as a full document with <HTML> tags etc. that aren't needed.
