About Seller Details:

If you click the "Select Template" button on the Auctiva lister page, and then choose a template by clicking the "Select" button displayed beneath it, you will be taken to a template preview page, where you will see sections labeled Payment, Shipping, Terms of Sale, About Us, and Contact Us. In order to use these sections, you must select a seller details profile from the "Select Seller Details" pull-down menu, which is located directly to the right on the "Select Template" button on the Auctiva lister page.

You can create a seller details profile by clicking the "Seller Details" link under the "Profiles" tab within your Auctiva account. When creating your seller details, you have the option to enter information from any or all of the available sections and, when you use a particular seller details profile for your listings, only the sections for which you entered information will be displayed within the template.

About Other Profiles:

The other profiles that Auctiva allows you the ability to create provide a way for you to save any consistently used information in your account, which can easily be loaded into the lister page when you are creating your listings, saving you the time and hassle of entering that information over and over again every time you create a new listing.

The most effective way to utilize these profiles is the first create profiles for the four individual component sections of the lister page, which are Item Details, Marketing Tools, Shipping, and Checkout. Once you have created profiles for each of these individual sections, you can combine them into a master profile by clicking the "Master" link under the "Profiles" tab within your Auctiva account. Then, when you are creating a new listing, you can either use the "Create from Master Profile" option under the "Listings" tab or load your master profile from the new listing page, and your profile information will automatically be prefilled into the Auctiva lister page.
