Relisting Items

If I created and listed an item in Auctiva, posted to eBay and it did not sell, is is BEST to relist and edit an unsold/closed item from the Auctiva Site rather than from the eBay site? IF I use the relist/edit feature directly on eBay from my unsold items, does it 'update' it to Auctiva? I am confused what is the best sequence/way to relist an unsold item. thanks
