Reply to "Replace image not working or updating on Ebay?"

I'm sorry to hear about your frustration. I am not aware of any technical problems that would cause the "Replace" option on our site not to function but, since you mentioned having problems specifically with the eBay gallery picture, I believe I know what may have led to the difficulties you encountered.

When you edit (or replace) the image that is being used as your header/gallery image, eBay does not automatically update the copies they display in the header and/or gallery area so an additional revision would be required to make the new image show up in those locations.

Once you have used the “Replace” option within Auctiva to replace an image that is being used as the header/gallery image in a listing, the copy of that image that is displayed within the description of the listing should be updated to reflect the new image.

At that point, you should then be able to force eBay's system to update their copy of the image that is displayed in the header and gallery areas to reflect the new image by either going to the Revise your Item form and stepping through the revision process without making any changes or using the tool on the following eBay page to *fix* the header/gallery image.

I realize that you have most likely already corrected this problem in the listings in question, but I hope this helps in case you need to do the same thing in the future.
