Hi Super_Flautist, Pascal still has its use at an educational level for youngsters for as a pro s/w engineer who grew up with it and moved on to currrent langauges and one who has a teenager who did the same A2 recently can atest

Otherwise most new starters will get bogged down to quickly in OOD techniques and Windows forms, J2EE and the like and sink without trace.
