Sellathon Hit Stats: What am I looking at?

Hi, can anyone help me understand the hit stats that I see under my active listings? I have a lot of 5 day auctions listed right now. when I look at the hit stats all I can see is a sample graph under the hourly graph. When I look at the daily graphs (either one) I do not see anything telling me it is a sample graph but there is a 10 day active history. Apparently people were looking at my auctions before I created them. What gives?
