Shipping info + templates

Hi,
I'm a total newbie, I have selected a template I wanna use, I have selected calculated shipping, on the template I chose it shows an area to write about shipping info, but when I preview it just has the options I selected and I need to specify prices to basic locations (I am outside US) How do I do this???!
I don't wanna right shipping info in the 'item discription' but this is the only thing from the template that shows up.
