Zebra, how about just using IE for Auctiva if Firefox isn't working for you? You don't even need to have 2 browsers open. I have the opposite problem (sometimes) but only on the community boards. I sometimes have to use FF to access them.
As for signing in, I just have www.auctiva.com saved in my browsers' address bars and use the dropdowns. Piece 'o cake
