Stereo Hook-ups

When I touch the jacks in the back of my av receiver from either my cd player or my cassette player I get a very loud hum. I don't even have to plug them. I am touching the right jacks too so there is no crossing involved

The unit works fine with the radio and the record player.

Anyone know why?
