We are not aware of an issue with eBay store categories when relisting items and when relisting from the Closed Listings page of accounts.

It sounds like we'll need to look a bit deeper into this in your account. Please let us know a few examples of where this has occurred from your account in a support case as well as any other details regarding these relists and we'll be happy to take a look into it. You can file a support case at any time from under the Help tab of the site as we have support representatives responding to support cases 24 x 7.
