Ive shipped Internationally for 10 years. It accounts for over 50% of my business. The only country I have had trouble with is Italy.
I almost always under value the item, and will always accommodate my buyers request. He is the one making the purchase, he is the who knows best about his countries policies, not me. Because of this, I retain a very high international sales ratio. I make it clear that his value will be the value upon loss. Considering losses are very low, it doesnt make sence to make business policies affecting all your sales, based on the low percentage. I am here to sell,...not find reasons NOT to sell.
I will ALWAYS accommodate my buyer, and that makes GOOD business. period.
