A token is an encrypted key that consists of a long line of scrambled letters and numbers that makes sense to nobody. It is entirely unique, and it is just used like a key to get in the door at eBay when we're posting items for you or keeping track of your listings. It proves to eBay that you have authorized us to talk to them on your behalf, e.g. post listings and inquire to the status of your auctions.
