Reply to "unable to upload photos"

This is so frustrating. So, I uploaded current version of JAVA the other day. Today, I try to upload pics & I'm getting a new warning from JAVA:
Application: com.auctiva.uploader.Image
Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern. Contact the application vendor to ensure that it has not been tampered with. It asks: BLOCK or DON'T BLOCK.
This message popped up while using Firefox 20.0.1. Java SE 7 U21
I didn't make a choice to block or not. I ended up opening Internet Explorer 32 & it uploaded my pictures without a warning. What is going on?
I don't know where all the problems are stemming from..auctiva, Java, Firefox or all of the above. Please advise how best & SAFE to use your service. Thanks.
