very basic question about Auctiva shipping insurance...

Hello. Ive used Auctiva to post auctions for a while now - but never used the shipping insurance. I dont understand how it works.
Usually, people pay me - I go to paypal (well now I guess it directs me to ebay shipping) and do a shipping label - and I add insurance based on the amount of the sale at that point - purchased with the shipping label.
I would still like to use this way to purchase and create shipping labels - and I know then, to NOT purchase shipping insurance at that point - but my questions is,
how, when, and where do I purchase and pay for shipping insurance through auctiva as Im creating my shipping label through Ebay/Paypal shipping labels?
