Viewing Clearer images using Auctiva, Need Help

Hi folks, hope someone out there can help me with some photo issues... My main concern is loss of clarity after pics have been uploaded to auctiva. I am aware that size and mp will affect resolution... however, for me it seems that my pics are ultra clear only before they are uploaded.

What am I doing wrong? I have a 7.2 mp Sony cybershot with a fine and standard setting and shoot under filtered flourescent lighting in a light tent with a tripod. I do set the camera to the flourescent setting.

One more thing, this may matter. My pics are ultra clear after "supersize photo" is clicked. It is only when they are in the smaller regular size do they look blurry. Are my pics too large or too small when uploaded??

I recall seeing that a auctiva member, on an auctiva template, had his/ her pics pre-supersized. How does one select supersize as the default? is is even possible? I want large clear photos when the page is loaded.
