What does "Track Images" mean????

Manage Images page has the following note posted:

IMPORTANT NOTE

Auctiva Image Hosting tools are used for images in listings posted or relisted through Auctiva. They do not track images in listings posted or relisted using any other service.

What does this mean? Is it different than what we have always had?

How does it affect us when we relist through eBay?
