Very interesting comments by PeSA. Unfortunately, ebay does not care, and while they might be willing to talk to PeSA, it won't matter much, until ebay decides to talk to the smaller sellers and buyers too.
EBay has burned a lot of bridges, and for what? To pretend they are Amazonian? They're not. They can do a lot of the same things Amazon is doing, but, until ebay realizes one thing, they will NEVER be like Amazon. Ebay has to learn that ALL their customers are important. But frankly, my dear, they dont give a damn. And while they are pursuing the ghost of huge retailers, reality sets in, and the truth must be made known: the little bit ebay is making off buy.com is a mere drop in the bucket, compared to all the fees they've lost by pissing the sellers and buyers off.
Ebay has burned a lot of bridges. Can they rebuild? Too soon to say, but, it's never easy to rebuild a name once it's been tarnished.
