Reply to "Where do the thumbnail pictures come from?"

Hi Barb & Community,

Whether your listings are posted through Auctiva or directly through eBay, the scrolling gallery images are based on the gallery/header images that are used in the listings. If a given listing uses a gallery image, the gallery image will also be used as the scrolling gallery image. If a listing does not have a gallery image, but contains a header image, the header image will be used as the scrolling gallery image.

If a listing that was NOT listed through Auctiva does not contain a gallery or header image, a scrolling gallery image will not be generated for that item. On the other hand, if a listing that was created through Auctiva does not contain a gallery or header image, the image that was placed in the first "Select an Image" box when the listing was created will be used as the scrolling gallery image.
