15 Hours - Listing Not Showing in Searches

I take it back - they've posted it but I didn't see it because it is NOT in the FEATURED section even though I paid for Gallery Featured. I've been looking for it by going to the category that I listed it in, and then looking in the Featured (top area) of that category. Isn't that where mine should be???

If not, what did I pay for that HUGE sum of money for???

Hi, if you are listing an item in their potential fraud list it may take 7 hours in my experience to appear, meantime they minimally show your item whilst vetting takes place.

What is the "potential fraud list?"

(I'm new to selling on eBay.)

Your 'featured item' will show up on the corresponding page according to what price you start at. Featured doesn't mean first page! unless it is the most expensive-search high to low --depends on how the buyer uses eBay's search.

Hi Diff, eBay has a confidential list of items most likely to be illegally traded, such as fake watches, scarves and software. They vet listings in certain categories some how before allowing them to go fully live.

See announcements by eBay earlier ths year for more (well possibly more) information.

The sort method wasn't an issue in my category - but luckily was able to work it out with eBay's Live Help Chat people. Thanks much for answering. This is a cool forum - very helpful, kind people!!!
