1st listing and getting API error

I scheduled my first listing and it came back with an API error - We're sorry, but before you list an item you must update your eBay account to a seller's account including a registered credit card. See your eBay account for more information. My ebay account is linked to PayPal with a bank account and debit visa card. I've used it many times for buying on eBay. This is the first I'm trying to sell. Any suggestions?

you need to go to ebay and click on the SELL at the top of the page and create a sellers account in order to sell

just because you bought on ebay will not help you to sell, you have to be able to prove you are who you are with a credit card.
