1st Listing - Trouble with shipping section

Hi everyone
I'm new here, and want to make my first Auctiva listing.

I am in Canada, so the shipping options listed are not the ones I use. I check 'other-see description', and all my s/h costs are in my listing.

When I preview the listing, I see that it has been decided that my shipping is FREE-within the US!

I take it you're listing to eBay.com? How do you do it when you list through eBay?

Can you just choose "flat rate shipping" or some other generic option?

Hi, and thanks for your time.

Yes, I'm listing to ebay. Usually I use Turbo Lister, but wanted to try the Auctiva templates, etc.

In TL I can just say 'shipping not specified' or some such.

Here, no matter which I click, it wants either $$, or it says it is free. I've tried 'other'see descrip' and flat rate - they both show shipping as free.

Hm, I don't know then.

I'm not really sure how many Canadians we have here using Auctiva but hopefully someone will come along with a better solution.

It may even be possible to somehow do what you're saying but I just don't know because I've never tried it.

Okay - got it figured with the advice from a poster on Canada Town Square.

I need to leave the shipping at the 'select' option at the top of the list, in order for it not to show up as free.
