A refinement of the Auctiva storefront search facility please

I wish the store search facility could avoid picking up a sub-string match.

When I want a whole word to be found delimited by spaces I do not want the specified combination of letters buried within a word to trigger a match. At present it causes real problems with my magazine listings.

An option for whole word only search would be a very useful addition

I would like to see an improvement of our search functionality as well. The search engine is built pretty deep in the source so it's hard to foresee it changing soon. I will try to pass your concerns on to the appropriate people and hopefully this will encourage an upgrade to happen sooner.
