I know this may sound like a silly question to ask, but if I list items to coincide with eBay's 20 cent listing day (the 24th) will it work??? Or must I use eBay's listing page or their (Auction Assistant or Blackthorne) program?

You can use Auctiva, and you will get credit for the listing special.
Biscuit, maybe you got the .20 cent offer on Auctiva, but I didn't. I was truly pi$$ed! It was a tossup whether to use eBay's special fee for the day and pay for photos, or pay full price listing fee through Auctiva and get my photos listed free. This did NOT make me happy!

There have been MANY listing sale days on eBay and every time Auctiva listings get the listing sale prices as well.
Sunny: have you checked your actual eBay invoice (in My eBay, click on Seller Account) to see if you REALLY did not get those special listing prices?
To my knowledge, Auctiva does not adjust their calculation of how much a listing is going to cost so on Auctiva it shows full price, but when it actually lists on eBay, you get the special price.
eBay literally only gives a few hours notice to sellers of such "sale" days, so it would be unrealistic to expect Auctiva to adjust their listing fee calculation method for a one day sale....

If you didn't get the listing special price, then it is eBay's fault, not Auctiva's.
Trust me - this question has been asked a thousand times. Check your eBay invoice if you are at all sceptical.

I took your advice and checked my eBay account, and sure enough I did get the discount for those auctions. I was misled because when I checked the cost on Auctiva, it didn't show the twenty-cent listing fee.
