Hi, I've tried to find this by myself but haven't been successful.
What I wanted to know is...If I open an ebay store, does that mean I can't use the templates from Auctiva in my listings?
Once I open a store, will the listings all have the same template? (from ebay)
Also, I'm wondering if it's easy or difficult to set up a store.Should I have my listings all done and ready to post, or is it all right to open the store and start listing items through Auctiva, then post to ebay.
I need the answer about the templates before I can start listing.
Thanks,

Hi,

You can use the same Auctiva templates and list from Auctiva as always, but change the listing type to Store Item (at top of listing page). If you have current Saved Listings with Auction or Fixed Price for the same item your selling in your Store, use the "Create Similar Lising" button at left side of item on Saved Listing page to quickly make a new one to edit the changes.

If I were going to open an eBay Store, Smile I would have my inventory and listings ready to go the day I began the eBay Store subscription. Note the Store item durations of 30 days or Good Until Cancelled. I'd also plan to use standard Auctions and Buy-It-Nows for exposure in eBay search to get buyers interested in looking, i.e. Store items have low visibility. Combined Shipping and Discounts, maybe even a free ship with minimum combined purchase, are possible motivations to buyers.

It does take some planning and thought....

Thank you Danno
I have some saved listings in my Auctiva account.
Yeah, I noticed the "smiley", but I closed my craft store (bricks and mortar as you say), and I have to put all my leftover inventory somewhere, so I'm going to try the ebay store.
Right now I have it in my house and there is a lot of it. I want my house back!!
I will do as you advised. I thought about it after and decided I could use Auctiva's templates on the items I will be putting up for auction.
I sell a lot of books just by making the page pretty, so I can continue doing it that way.
Thank you for your advice. I'm going to print your reply out and follow it.
Thanks again,
T.

The smiley was for my Summer Project, opening an eBay Store(s). It's not a subject that I haven't spent some time investigating.

Suggestion: Look at your competition first, and see what they are doing and how they list.

If you haven't looked at Combined Shipping rules in eBay preferences, you'll need to. You link those back to Auctiva in your Auctiva eBay account preferences, as well as any Custom eBay Store categories you create.
