About this four hours of updating the Auctiva site

... which is supposed to happen on a Thursday night, just wondering why in fact it started this Friday morning at 6 am when I was bloomin well half way through a detailed listing which I'd been working on for half an hour beforehand. Auctiva is absolutely wonderful - please I am not complaining - but if it's going to close down for four hours, would it be possible to get the timin a bit more accurate?

Hi, Have never sent a message before so hope I'm in the right area. Don't you think the end of the week is a bad time for maintenance? I am in Melbourne, Australia and planned to spend the Friday afternoon doing a bit of uploading work. It is now 6.00 pm and I haven't been able to do anything over the last two hours. Ebay is the same. I know the time zones are different but maybe early to midweek might suit all time zones better. Regards.

With a 24/7 market place when would a good time be, certainly avoiding weekends is good, and also Thursday evenings when sellers start 10 day listings for ending on Sundays.

I personally think they have got it about right, maybe earlier in the week but it is bound to upset someone whenever it is
