Hi fandpinboots,

What you are describing should be possible. In order to add a link that customers can click to send you an email, you will need to switch to the "HTML" version of the description editor in your item details profile and enter the following line of HTML code:

<a href="mailto:youremailaddress@gmail.com">Contact Me</a>

NOTE: When creating this link, you'll want to replace "youremailaddress@gmail.com" with your actual email address and you'll want to replace the "Contact Me" with the text that you would like the link to reflect.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer support team by completing the web form on the following page of our site: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx

MC004 eBay Listing Removed: Inappropriate Links ( 230667118)

Dear 2strokecrazycgr(72zx750r@comcast.net),

You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

200247853683 - Early 69 - 71 KAWASAKI H1 500 Chrome Chain Guard

The listing was removed because it violated the eBay Inappropriate Links policy. The violation occurred when you included the following information in your listing:

http://store.auctiva.com/2strokecrazycgr

We notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

A link is any mechanism that takes a user to another Web site. Links can appear in the form of text, images, logos, or icons. They can be clickable or not.

Sellers can include some types of links in their listing if those links are intended to give potential buyers more detailed information about an item in their listings.
However, listings that describe or link to Web sites offering to trade, sell, or purchase goods or services outside of eBay are not permitted.

For more information on the eBay Inappropriate Links policy, please visit:

Please note: violation of this or other eBay policies may result in forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings, limits on account privileges and account suspension.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,

How frustrating and nerve-racking for you! File a support case right away with Auctiva. They can help you. This was an error on eBay's part. If the link truly goes to your Auctiva store, that store only promotes your eBay items, and is fully integrated with and permitted by eBay policy. In the past, a few have had listings pulled for the same reason before Ebay acknowledged the error. But it took a lot of intercession from Auctiva support personnel. So the sooner you file the case, the better.

Hit the Help icon on the top of your screen, scroll down a bit and look on the right where you will find the link to file a support case.

Wanda
