Adult Items

Hello, ebay has changed its policy and now allowed pay pal as payment for adult only items.

Auctive has yet to reflect this change as far as I can tell, I still get an error message when trying to list with pay pal.

Also, if I post directly on ebay (for adult items as a buy it now, multiple quantity) ebay DOES ALLOW me to do this, but auctiva gives me an error message telling me

adult items cannot be listed as buy it now, or use pay pal or multiple quantities

I would like for auctive to UPDATE itself, so that I can post there instead on directly on ebay.

Anyone have any ideas?

You will probably have to wait until Auctiva updates their programming. You could contact Auctiva Support for more info:

LOL, I have submitted to the support desk on this issue over a month ago and still no update. They are also unaware it seems of the new payments methods that ebay accepts (moneybookers, Payment). It is frustrating as I am trying to list to the adult category as well but get error after error about paypal, buy it now etc.

I have to list thru Ebay as well it is a headache with their new setup. I guess if auctiva isn't going to update their system it looks like I have to go back to ebays turbo lister which I dread.

Just wanted to update this thread as well. Got a reply that it was to be updated on their 3/25/09 update but that has not happened.

Heck, They still have not gotten around to adding the new approved payment mehtods either, maybe by next year.

Use Turbo lister for adult items instead of waiting.

OK, Just got another reply to the request.
They are now saying the update was postponed till 3/31/09. It will be updated then, this is per the tech support/help desk.
