I'm not sure this is quite the right place for this, but I see no specific AliExpress section.
I've just signed-up to AliExpress (so I expect to get bombarded with spam) and I can't believe the prices they're asking!
Looking in the cycling section, I can buy a chinese replica Brooks B17 'leather' saddle. Here in the UK, Brooks are regarded as pretty much the ultimate saddle and will cost about £70 to £80. I can buy 1 of the chinese replica Brooks for a massive $105.26 each! If I wanted it shipped to the US, that would cost an additional $36.39.
A simple wire basket to clip on the handlebars retails in the UK for about £12 to £15. On AliExpress you can buy these for a crazy $124.74 to $249.48 each depending on quantity purchased, with the dearer price being for just 1 item. That's not for a pallet or truck load, it's just 1 item.
No one's going to buy anything from AliExpress at these prices, or am I missing something?

Please keep in mind that some suppliers expect to negotiate. So they put up prices just as a starting point. While this isn't always very convenient for buyers, it mirrors a practice that is very common in other cultures.

There are a great variety of suppliers and products on the site. AliExpress has enjoyed tremendous growth over the past year, which shows that deals exist and they are being found. Spend some time hunting and I'm confident you'll find some too, even if not on the item you've begun searching for.
