Hi bbp,
Thanks for posting about your problem here. The only circumstance under which the dimensions of your images should be changed during the uploading process is if the dimensions of the original images exceed the maximum dimensions which we support, which are 1280 px x 1024 px.
If you upload an original image that has at least one dimension which exceeds the maximum our image hosting service can support, the dimension that exceeds the maximum by the most should be constrained to the maximum for that dimension and the other dimension should be constrained proportionally to maintain the same width to height ratio.
If the images that you are uploading do not exceed the maximum dimensions we are able to support, we would need to look into this situation further to figure out what is going on. In that case, please contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.
When you receive a reply, you should be asked to email a couple examples or original image files you have encountered the problem with to the representative who is assigned to assist you so we can try to reproduce the problem using those specific images.
