Hi, I was wondering if someone can tell me exactly how Auctiva's image storage limit works? I've been trying to get my image storage limit to drop, I've just about reached my 1gb limit. I have noticed so far that I can put as many pictures on auctiva as I want and my image storage does not go up, it's not until I list to ebay that the image storage starts to go up, which tells me that the images have to be active for them to count, but what confuses me is that I will have up to 25 listings end on ebay and I will go back to check my image storage limit and it has not dropped. I have even tried deleting images from saved listings. Can someone please explain, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

fersus,

The way our image storage works is that when you upload an image you will be charged for it. Whether images appear in active listings or not has nothing to do with whether you will get charged.

The way we charge is based on the highest usage you have in the month. So if you go over 1GB at any time during a given month, you will be billed the extra image hosting for that month, even if you end the month with less than 1GB stored.

We have an FAQ on deleting images-- you can read it here http://www.auctiva.com/help/#delete-images

Please note the caution in the FAQ about using the image deletion wizard...be careful with it. If you have posted/relisted all your listings through Auctiva, the Wizard works fine, but it cannot identify images that are in listings you posted direct on eBay or through some other service, and if you have posted that way, use one of the other methods but not the Wizard.

Hope this helps.
