Amending current GTC adverts

Hi
Am hoping that this is something that is simple that I am missing. All of my listings auto relist as they are set as GTC. I need to add some photo's and amend some text. Is it possible to do this in Auctiva so that future ads are correct? Confused Or if I amend in Ebay will the auto relists copy the amended ad? Or if neither of the above how do I turn off the auto relist part of it as I don't want to re-create all of my ads.

Hi Carlie A,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. Assuming the items you are referring to were posted through your Auctiva account and you would like to add images to the descriptions of the listings, you will first need to make the desired changes to the saved listings within your Auctiva account from which you posted them and save the changes.

Once you have updated these items as desired on your Saved Listings page within Auctiva, you can transfer the changes to the descriptions of the associated active listings on eBay by revising each one via the following process:

1) Click the "<HTML> icon to the right of the item on your "Saved Listings" page
2) Click the “Select All” button and copy the HTML in the popup window.
3) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
4) Scroll down to the "Description" section and then click the "HTML" tab above the description editor.
5) Delete the existing description HTML, paste the copied HTML in its place, and save your changes.

If you would like to add additional images to the Gallery section of your listings as well, you would then need to upload them again using the “Bring your item to life with pictures” section on the eBay Revise your Item form.

If you revise your listings in this manner, they should be the same within Auctiva as on eBay so the changes should remain intact regardless of whether they continue to be relisted automatically based on the Good til Canceled setting or they are posted anew from your Auctiva Saved Listings page.

As far as I can tell, it is not possible to edit the duration of a Good til Canceled listing so, in order to prevent any of these items from relisting automatically, you would need to end them early through your eBay account and then repost them with a new duration.
