Another day another problem.


CHECK YOUR LISTINGS TOO. . .just stumbled on this one.


Just happened to notice that at least one of my multi-variation listings has one of the thumbnails missing when relisted today. I went and checked last month was not on then either and just noticed. Month before that same exact listing was fine.

This is only one I have found, so far. . just what we need images not showing up.

I have sent to support, cleared cache/cookies, re-set router, is not isp issue. Auctiva??????

Someone with Auctiva, please, please, please, please tell your support reps to do their homework and job. They ask for listing No in original request, I give it, they come back with answer without obviously looking at the listings I submitted.

WHY send listing numbers if they aren't going to look at them???

This has become the NORM an answer without looking at listings, last time I sent one with listing numbers they went to a listing that I did not even have on list and told me nothing was wrong with it. Yeah, because it was NOT on the list of problems.

This is becoming a HUGE time consumer and about to pull my hair out with customer service and the new and improved changes that have been forced down our throats.

I could NOT possibly have made this easier for the rep that took this request and IF by chance there is a language barrier? Then perhaps they should ask questions to make sure they understand question before sending response.

It is NOT my browser as have checked in more than one, cache, cookies, router or ISP provider.

Thanks for someone with Auctiva checking into this. I told rep if he could not find issue to please move this up the food chain to higher powers.

Thanks for letting us know about the problem you encountered. I realize that your support case has already been responded to but, in case anyone else comes across this thread that has been impacted by the same issue, there is a current technical problem that may caused variation images not to make it to eBay with certain listings.

Our system is still technically sending all the variation images that have been selected to eBay with each listing but we noticed a while back that there system would occasionally encounter errors when trying to create copies of the images which would cause those images not to show up.

In order to avoid that problem, we had added some additional code to our service designed to recognize when that happens and resubmit the images when necessary, but that retry code is currently not working as intended. Our engineering team is working on a fix for that problem and will release it as soon as possible.

I will follow up with you (and anyone else with an open case on the topic) to let you know when the issue has been resolved. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
