I changed my eBay auto payment from PayPal to direct debit from checking and Auctiva began to give me API errors, not posting listings, saying I owed eBay money and need to have a credit card on file. I cleared all monies owed eBay to ZERO and do have a cc on file. Meanwhile, I still cannot upload listings. I renewed my eBay token and that did not help. eBay support says I have a zero balance and that this is an Auctiva problem. Can someone tell me what to do? Is there a time lag from when things are handled in eBay finance to when Auctiva finds out? Thanks! sharon

Hi Da_rosie,

When eBay returns an API error with respect to one of your posting attempts and you correct the issue that is described in the error message, there actually isn't anything that needs to be updated on the Auctiva side of things, so you should be able to post your listing successfully as soon as the situation with eBay is taken care of. I suppose there may be a delay between when the situation gets taken care of on eBay's end and when they lift the restriction though.

API errors are not actually returned by Auctiva. When we attempt to submit a listing on your behalf and eBay rejects that posting attempt, we just relay the error message that eBay returned to you in the form of an API error. If you are certain you corrected the situation with eBay and therefore feel you are receiving the error message in error, I recommend contacting eBay's customer support team for further clarification.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer support team by completing the web form on the following page: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx
