Every time I try to post listing The scheduled listing shows Not Posted: API error. When I view error it says "We've noticed that your listing included an email address. eBay no longer permits email addresses in listings, whether they are clickable or not. Please remove any email addresses from your listing (from item descriptions, payment instructions, return instructions, etc.) before you resubmit it." The only reference to an email is at my Checkout where I checked Allow Paypal and the email is required there..

Hi fire_buyer,

Thanks for sharing your experience here. The API error message you mentioned receiving *should* only be returned when an email address is present somewhere within your listing description but I have also seen cases in which eBay has returned the error inappropriately due to the use of the “@” symbol as luckybreak mentioned.

If you have not done so already, the first thing I recommend doing is scanning your description for any instances of the “@” symbol and removing any references to that symbol which may be causing eBay to assume you have an email address in your description.

If you re unable to find any such content in your description, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option and we will be happy to look into your case further.

-Mike
