hey guys i've just posted my first listing on ebay.

A few problems,

I've got an API warning saying: Shipping Service Collection in Person(311) set as last service.

On my ebay account however my listing is up as "selling."

The problem is that if i try to actually find my listing through browse it's nowhere to be found. For example i view my own listing from "my ebay." i then click back a category only to find it non existent. so it seems the only way to see my item is through a direct link Mad
does that mean it won't sell because nobody will see it and that i've just inserted an item that won't sell and i'll have to pay the insertion fee anyway?

I tried resolving the problem by removing the collect in person option but that seemed to have no effect.

Please help because it's my first listing and i was hoping to use auctiva so much and i don't want to lose faith in it Frown

It's often takes at least 6 hours for a new listing to categorize and index before you'll find it using Search. That's especially true for restricted categorizies and heavy listing days, like the weekend. Also, "Best Match" Search might have it burried. Frown

If it's showing on "My eBay" in the Selling section, it made it there despite any API Warning. Haven't seen that 311 before.....interesting. Confused

Oh....and Revising a listing can start the clock over on completing the indexing process, i.e. I think it's as much a Trust & Safety as anything check to initially get it to visible in search.

Looks good! I'd venture a guess it will show in Search by early Friday morning (UK), so it will have full view for the weekend traffic. I see you did 10 days to have it finish on a Sunday afternoon.

The title keywords also seem to conform to others in that category, and should help visibility. I note use by a few other listings with "Guitar" keyword in title that might have helped, but the category listings appear fairly small, which should help visibiity.

It didn't appear in any of my searches (yet).

Good luck!
