API Error: eBay has not posted your item due to title, description, and/or eBay policy violation. Please contact Auctiva support for more information on why your listing has failed to post.

What am I doing wrong? Please advise. I need to get these adult magazines posted right away. Reply via email to fc2hs@comcast.net. Thank you.

Hi Eric,

I just reviewed your listings and, while you don't have the "Accept PayPal payments" box checked in the "Checkout Options" section, "Paypal" is mentioned several times in your description, which is why these listings are being rejected by eBay. Once you have removed all 3 allusions to "Paypal" from your descriptions, you should be able to post these listings successfully.

Any additional questions or concerns? Please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

Mike,

Thanks for your help. I did delete all references to PayPal, however, it still won't post, giving me same API error message. I did file (2) support requests. Now into my 2nd day waiting to hear back from Auctiva support. Do you known what the normal turn around time is to hear back from Auctiva support? I'd really like to get this issue resolved so I can post these magazines. Thanks. Eric Thompson

I'd suggest using the HTML icon on the saved listings page to get the HTML for that listing. Then listing it at eBay using their sell your item form.

Hopefully their error message when you try to post provides more answers. The messages they provide through the API as to the error are very poor which is why we end up having to interpret them.
