Hi again.
I have read and re-read too, and cannot find a specific answer to this. Especially with all of Ebay's new changes, alot of the policies don't even apply anymore and they still haven't updated them.

All I can think of is to contact Live Help but I wouldn't count on getting correct info from them. Try to list in a week and see what happens.
the listing restrictions are on goods ebay consider high on the counterfiet list. Instead of weeding out the counterfieters they decide to punish everyone who lists these items, I have also been restricted.

Ebay will NOT tell you how many listings you can post, as they say if they do the counterfieters will be able to stay under their radar.

They will not tell me how long the restriction will last, just to reapply in 90 days.

They told me to work on my feedback (you are only restricted to one category, Clothing, Shoes and Accessories in my case) and when I gain their trust they will raise the limit... Note RAISE, so stop.

They will not tell me at what level I have earned their trust.

I currently have 71 feedback, 100% positive, with DSR's at 4.8/4.9

I have offered them proof of authentication and they don't want to know.

I would suggest you contact them, as they might be using it as a way of weeding out the bad guys, if I was selling fakes would I be emailing them demanding to know what was going on, how long it was going to last, and offering proof of authentication....

If it helps the restriction is for a set limit (30 days in my case) but I can relist a few items (and I mean a few, I have a massive amount of 4 listings on at the moment) exactly a week after my restriction. Which in my case is a Thursday.

If you log into your ebay and try to revise an item it won't let you (this is the most annying part, especially if you realise you put the wrong shipping profile on your items and are now selling them with a shipping fee of 1/2 what it costs me). You will get a message telling you how long the restriction is for, and a link to contact them.

This limit can be anything from 24 hours to 30 days.

If its 30 days, I suggest trying to post again next Tuesday, as you should be able to post another few items.

Absolutely SO true. And yet the counterfiet capitol of the world (China) has flooded Ebay with listings but apparently that's ok with them. The whole situation stinks.
Smilewow..didn't mean to open up a can of worms or anything...just wanted to let you know that auctiva support got back to me and the reason why there was an error code FOR ME was because i had checked the boxes saying i would accept merchant credit cards...i specifically called paypal BEFORE checking those boxes and they told me i was set up to accept credit cards...now that i change the option in my shipping details my postings are going thru once again...thank you for all your help and have a great day, cinderella
glad you got it sorted cinderella.

Yes member, it is extremely stupid. lets block all the honest sellers in the UK (in my case) because they might be selling fakes, but lets let the Chinese (who are most definately selling fakes, and possibly to gullible UK sellers who are trying to be honest and stupidly trusting ebay) sell whatever they like, and in packs of 10 or more!
