API ERROR NO LISINTS UP IN THREE DAYS--HELP!!!

What are you trying to list? I once had a similar problem when trying to sell some paint gun accessories. My default shipping setting is worldwide, but you can't ship the paintball stuff out of the country, so eBay kept rejecting my listing. It took me quite a while to figure out why.

I am listing antique photos, which i have listed on ebay, through turbolister, and during the past six weeks auctiva, without a hitch. why the sudden problem? nothing has changed.

@chellie - ebay constantly changes the words they screen for, so just because it used to work doesnt mean it will today. Was recently told by another ebayer that for some reason they've now started applying it to listings that have a couple of really common words (I cant think of them now, but they were very common/generic words that could easily appear in many listings)

Could also be something in your payment terms or shipping terms.

If you want, copy your listing over to practiceboard.com and post the url practiceboard gives you here. (title, description, payment info, etc) and perhaps one of us can find the problem?

Or if it's completely identical to a previous item you've listed (same description, title, payment info, shipping info, etc), simply post the item number.

THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME - This API error saying

"The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy."

I'm so frustrated. I have only done two listings, but they WILL NOT go through. I can find NOTHING wrong or inappropriate! They are for kids clothes!! Please let me know if you figure something out!

In regards to the paintball thing, it was easy for eBay to catch because we had it in the right catagory.

I have tried to save a listing 4 times to look up some info on it. I thought that perhaps I did not save the first time. Now, I know that it is not me. I almost had it finsihed-hit save, did not save. Got to start all over. Wow--what time we waste, and, money we lose when we can't list.

chellie, I'd be willing to bet that it actually is something in the listing but nobody can help with this particular problem without actually seeing the text of the listing..
