I have tried MULTIPLE times to list a Bvlgari perfume and each time get an API error message. Everything else I am listing is going on fine, this is the only item. A friend said it might be because it is a branded perfume and I should click to sell to Europe only and not Worldwide, but this has not worked. I emailed Ebay who were unhelpful and said it could be for a number of reasons - I had listed too many items, I was trying to list a prohibited item etc. They would not specify what the actual problem was for security reasons. SO-I am back to square one - i have a couple of other perfumes I was going to sell and have scheduled these so do not know if they have gone on yet. Any help appreciated! Rosa

Hello Rosa,

I had this happen to me when trying to sell Chanel cosmetics, there is absolutely nothing you can do. You basically will be allowed to list one or two every few weeks till one day ebay will miraculously allow you list more, eventually the restriction will be removed. I think it took me 4 months before restrictions were removed, it all depends on how much other stuff you sell and your feedback i think. Ebay would not disclose the criteria.
