API Warning - Payment Method MOCC Removed?

Hi,new guy here. I have been on ebay since '98 and I tried my first Auctiva listing and have a small problem.
The item events showed this message;

API Warning

Only PayPal or electronic payment methods allowed. Payment method MOCC has been removed from the listing.

The item listed 2 seconds later with another event box above the API warning failed listing. The ebay page only shows that I accept Paypal (which I do) but took away the cashiers check or money order option for some reason?

eBay no longer allows "paper" payments--if you somehow list something that has the mo/cc as a payment method, eBay will remove your listing for you since you will be "in violation" of their policy. Nice, huh? You can still accept them if that's what you have done in the past, but you cannot advertise it in your listings.

Thanks for the quick reply, haven't sold in a little while and didn't know that was their new policy, real nice. The option is there so I used it, eBay just took it off and still accepted the listing. I get it, but what a pain.

It's sad what eBay has become--a giant, greedy monster. There's a lot of new changes that you may not be aware of (like the maximum shipping costs in some categories.) They aren't making it fun to sell on there anymore!

This has been bothering me too lately.. so whats the way around it? Just put "I accept M/O's" in the listing?

You are not supposed to mention checks or money orders in your listings. If a buyer contacts you and wants to pay that way, you can accept it if you wish.
