Hi, I'm trying to work out how to get changes I made to my seller profile to show on my eBay listings. I've tried the "edit" function, and all looks well in Auctiva, but not in eBay. (I assumed hitting "Save" would work, but no--and "Post" only resulted in a duplicate listing.)

Could someone please point me toward a tutorial. I did look in the FAQs and following their steps didn't work. Tx Smile

Hi Gabrielle,

If you have already updated your seller details profile, then any future listings that you post through Auctiva with that seller details profile will reflect the changes you have made. However, in order to get those changes applied to listings that are currently active, you would need to update them using eBay's "Revise your Item" form.

One method that you could use to make these revisions would be to update each listing using the following process (the HTML code generated in step 2 will reflect the description HTML for the listings includes the changes you have made to your seller details profile):

1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder
2) Click the "<HTML> icon to the right of the item on your "Saved Listings" page
3) Select All and copy the html in the popup window
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button
5) Scroll down to the "Description" section and then click the "HTML" tab above the description editor
6) Delete the existing description HTML, paste the copied HTML in its place, and save your changes

Alternatively, you could just go directly to the Standard version of the description editor on the eBay "Revise your Item" form for each listing and update the seller details information manually within the editor using your cursor and keyboard.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Request" option.
