Thanks for posting your question here. If you were to set up an Auto Relist profile to relist an item with a duration of 1 day and the conditions specified in the “I Want to Auto-Relist if” section are met, our software should attempt to relist the item with a duration of 1 day.
From that point, whether or not the relist attempt is successful would depend on whether the 1 day duration is available for the listing in question. You can read more about the terms associated with 1 day listings on the following page of eBay's help index:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/1-day.htmlSince you mentioned the shortest duration you have seen when attempting to relist an item through one of eBay's listing tools is 3 days, I suspect that eBay must not allow the 1 day duration for that particular item for some reason.
