Thanks to all at Auctiva for releasing the Australian version.

remarks:
1.) It would be good to have the option for payments to be made by bank deposit for local buyers.

2.) Need the option where you could select/show the preferred payment method for local buyers and International buyers. i.e. a personal cheque will not be acceptable in Australia from another country.

3.) In the shipping options, it would be great to have the option of pricing the cost for weight instead of and/or in addition to each additional item. e.g.: $2.00 for the first 2Kgs and $1.00 for each additional 500g. This will enable the costs to be inline with the Australia Post pricing system.

For your consideration...

Hi Danicore, Couldn't agree with you more.. I used Auctiva the first time the other day and found it was fantastic except for the fact that I couldn't use Bank Deposit as a payment option and this is the only thing that has stopped me from using Auctiva again at the moment..With the amount of sales I make, I need my bank account details to automatically show up in checkout.. I don't have the time to send my bank account details to every buyer, also some buyers look at the bottom of the listing and don't read the listing for payment option and automatically think you don't accept Direct Deposit even though you do and have written that in the listing... So please AUCTIVA, think about us Aussie's, we love your site too..
i just looked at listing for .au (out of curiosity) and notice that paymate isnt on there as a payment option.

I know non-au residents cant use paymate to receive funds, but last i knew aussie sellers could use it on ebay.au as a payment option for local and intl. customers (i know i paid a seller in au via paymate back some time ago)

anyway, assuming paymate is still allowed, my suggestion is to include that as a payment option.
Hi There, I have actually never heard of paymate is it like Pay Pal??? I do have a Pay Pal account and do receive payments from international buyers, but do not have it as a payment option due to the fee's that Pay Pal charges.. I always allow International Buyers to use it as it is the only payment option I will allow for International Buyers, (it's so easy), but as there are other payment options like Bank Deposit for Australian Buyers, that cost me no additional fees, I prefer Australian Buyers not to use it. They can if they contact me first and agree to a small (and I mean small) surcharge being added on to their invoice, but as for paymate, never heard of it.
i belive it was the only paypal-like option before paypal expanded to .au but not sure

i've had more caffeine and now in retrospect am unsure as to if ebay has paymate as an option for payments (where it shows up in bottom under "Payment methods accepted" like other payment options do) so prolly cant put it on listing form on auctiva. In fact, just went and looked at a couple of random listings that take paymate and it's not in payment methods in bottom; those sellers used "other - see desription" and put it in description of listing. So, my suggestion is prolly worthless since it looks like ebay wouldnt support it on their end.

anyway, paymate is at https://www.paymate.com.au/ and fees page is https://www.paymate.com.au/help/help.do?helpSet=paymate&item=svcfees
Sorry to bump an old thread but I second the request for Paymate.com.au integration into Auctiva's checkout system. I've heard quite a few horror stories involving dodgy buyers and Paypal/CC chargebacks and I would like to start accepting Paymate payments for my auctions. However, simply having the Paymate logo in the listing and not at the bottom of the auction page means a lot of buyers miss it.

Also if it's possible to have separate checkout pages with different payment options for Aussie buyers vs. International buyers that would be great (as the OP suggested). Too often I've had auctions end and overseas buyers trying to send me money orders which cost me more to cash than the value of the item itself.
