Hi reccephantoms,
Thanks for posting your question here. If you configured your Auctiva account to automatically generate insurance policies for your listings by setting up Auto-Insure Rules on your Auctiva Shipping Insurance Settings page, all you would need to do to ensure that no policies are automatically generated is to disable your Auto-Insure Rules.
From your Auctiva Shipping Insurance Settings page, you can disable your Auto-Insure Rules by selecting the radio buttons next to “Do not automatically purchase insurance” under both Domestic Shipments and International Shipments in the Auto-Insure Rules section.
On the other hand, if you set up some of your items to be insured automatically by selecting the “Automatically purchase insurance for this listing” option in the Shipping Tools section when posting them through Auctiva, the only way to make sure they are not automatically insured it to ensure the Auctiva Shipping Insurance setting is disabled in your account.
This can also be done from your Auctiva Shipping Insurance Settings page by unchecking the box next to “Enable Auctiva Shipping Insurance” and then clicking the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of the page.
I reviewed your account and confirmed that this “Enable Auctiva Shipping Insurance” setting has already been disabled so, provided your insurance settings remain as they are now, no insurance policies should be automatically generated as your items sell.
I hope this clears things up. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.
