Auctiva Shipping Profile with eBay Shipping Discounts

I am new to Auctiva and post this question: I am only using Auctiva for listing and image hosting. I am not using the Auctiva Checkout feature. I have set up eBay combined payments and shipping discounts for multiple purchases within My eBay preferences thus far just using "Flat Shipping Rules". Is it necessary to create Auctiva Shipping Profiles to match my eBay shipping discount rules? Should I be using Auctiva's Shipping Profiles at all? I am confused on how the Auctiva Shipping Profiles and eBay Shipping Discount feature work together without the Auctiva Checkout. Hope this makes sense.

I sure am glad "calgal" that you asked this question. I too have been searching the auctiva and ebay forums for this exact questions and answers.

Maybe someone will answer our question if they see that more replies posted to this thread.
